Jay graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Hospitality Management and holds the Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) designation, underscoring his deep expertise in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Ghertner & Company in 2021, Jay served as Vice President of Westmont Hospitality Group and gained valuable firsthand experience in community association management through his role as Vice President on his former community’s board. This unique combination of hospitality leadership and community governance provides Jay with a practical and insightful perspective, enhancing his effectiveness in managing and supporting the communities he serves.
