Position Title:
Accounting Generalist II (Lease and Financial Reporting focus)
Position Purpose:
Provide superior customer service by providing financial, administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her control; Ensures accurate and timely research & reporting of homeowner account status
Primary/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain all aspects of the HOA lease registration program; Including initial set-up of new program sales, initiation and verification of program revenue by HOA and by home.
Accurately maintain all lease registration program mailings, including initial HOA and/or homeowner contact, as well as, lease expiration notifications, initiation and verification of related program revenues.
Accurately maintain lease documents within SEC, which includes rental information, copies of leases.
Prepare, review and bill for the monthly postage/copy.
Prepare, review and publish required monthly lease reports.
Publish monthly CAM invoices images.
Publish monthly public financial statements by HOA into SEC.
Other duties and projects assigned.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
BS Degree in accounting or related field or equivalent industry experience (Minimum of three years’ experience with proven job responsibility progression)
Be able to work independently and in a team environment
Strong interpersonal and communicational skills
Proficient in relevant computer applications
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
